About Our Business

We want to provide you with a wonderful, historic place to hold your event. We host
events of all kinds including weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, reunions,
bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, and anniversary parties, just to
name a few.

Orrmont was the family home of the Orr's of the Orr Felt Company in Piqua, Ohio. It
was built in 1890 by Aaron Morrison Orr. It is about 9,000 square feet, has 11
bedrooms, including 4 servant rooms on the third floor. There are 5 fireplaces, 5
and a half baths, a library that opens to the courtyard, and sun parlor that opens to
the terrace.

There are multiple places outside in the yard to hold a wedding so you will be sure
to find something that fits your style. We also have a large tent on concrete for
receptions.

We have ample parking for all of your guests, no matter how large the party.

There are many different kinds of trees to enjoy as you wander around the estate
including, Ginko, Walnut, Golden Rain Tree, and Kentucky Coffee Tree. You can sit
down by the pond and watch the ducks, turtles, frogs and fish to enjoy the calm
surroundings. You can walk the grounds and enjoy the animals on the estate
including red fox, groundhog, squirrel, raccoon, skunk, blue heron, owl, hawk,
muskrat and deer.
